Quick drive around the Pyrenees

Every couple of years some friends of mine run a driving trip in europe . Next year part of the route is through the Pyrenees and a couple of weekends ago we popped over to reccy the route ..... found some great roads and scenery

We flew into Bilboa on Friday night and drove up to Pau . In the morning we drove south into the Pyrenees , lunch in a rather pleasant village then on to la Seu d'Urgell , just south of Andora , for the Saturday night . Sunday drove up through the western side and back round to Pau . We stopped off at Pau Arnos circuit as a trackday there to start the trip seems like an idea Then a easy run back to Bilboa , 48 hrs .... 1500 klms and a great trip

Can't wait for next June and the full length version 8)

Good stuff !! I was thinking of flying up to Scotland in a couple of weeks but have been worried about the weather. This looks like a good alternative and looks like you had good weather - a bit chilly though probably ??!!

Shorts and a T shirt in mid October , mid 20's c .... think we might of got the last of the autumn weather though , 10 degrees and rainy now .
