Bastard telco customer service lines

Ever noticed how these bds charge you above a local call for the privelige of trying to talk to them about their stty customer service?
Is it just a coincidence they keep you hanging on for ages in order to make yet more money from you?

The same applies to those s that use 0870 numbers.

What prompted this? currently hanging on the phone paying 10p a minute listening to stty fking hold music so I can speak to some dick about upping my internet connection speed (at my expense). Now going to ask them to end the service, they can stick it up their asses.

I must be careful to avoid the naming and shaming rules, so all I can say is avoid Telephonics like they've got the bad aids.
