GS service schedule

Can anyone confirm if the service schedule for the GS is on miles or miles or 12 months which ever is sooner?

I've got the service book in front of me & there's no mention of the length of time & am wondering if the dealer is pulling a fast one. It'll be due in a couple of thousand miles & will get it done then, probs start of the new year but as it stands they are saying it'll affect the warranty work it's currently in for.

I can't get hold of Kevin croaker at the moment, so does anyone know?

After discussion, yup it does need a 'minor' service every 12 months...

Yep I would agree.

4200 requires at least an "annual" service or a main service regularly depending on timing and miles covered. IIRC its 6k/18k/31k.

Grr twas the implication that if I didn't have it done there & then the warranty would be affected that got the alarm bells ringing. Keving Croaker has confirmed this is not strictly the case though, however a failure attributed directly to any servicing not completed per the schedule would be declined. Which makes sense. After getting all the facts straight, they've got the green light to do the service in addition to the warranty work - not ideal timing for me but better to have it all fit & sorted then worry about it later. After all, it's my daily driver :P
