Buying contact details?

Hi there,

Looking to reach out to potential customers via email/post (auto industry).

Is it possible to buy contact details of say vectra owners in a certain area.

I can imagine insurance comparison sites having data like this. Reckon i have read here of companies contacting owners offering cheaper servicing and people asking how they obtained there email address?

DVLA could produce that info - models by postcode area.

Whilst they could provide statistics, surely they can't divulge names and addresses for data protection reasons.

Supplying confidental personal information to outside commercial outfits is a lucrative stream of income for government and local government bodies.

Hi Chap,
I work with the data industry and have yet to find a reliable source of motoring data that is affordable for a SME.
It may be worth thinking about an alternate strategy.
On the email marketing front I can definitely help, will be happy to do so and offer fellow PHers discounted rates.
