I have a Fuji Finepix S6500FD and am trying to work out which printer to get. Obviously I want as high quality as possible, but i'm not a pro or at college. I always thought A4 would be enough, but if I upgraded to an SLR in the future, or wanted to hang something on the wall for instance, A3 would/might be a bonus. I have no real experience of printing digital photos, so I don't know how big a 6MP photo would be. Which is why I thought i'd ask my learnered friends here. I have always been told in the past that Epson is the best. I'm pretty sure its true, but do know of others that are good like cannon, for example. What should I expect to pay? and what do I get for my money?
Where should I buy from? and how much pictures will I get from the gazillion cartridges? I'm not expecting to print huge amounts so running costs should not be a problem. It would be nice if it could be on my wireless network, as my brother works from home and may want to use it. I'm PC, he's Mac. But I will be mac very soon too.

Any thoughts welcome!

Yep... Epson are the market leaders. Paper and ink usually work out at about 30p per A3 print in my experience.

6mp is not the issue, it's the size of the sensor the image was recorded on. 6mp from a camera will probably look crap at A3, 6mp from a DSLR much, much better.
