Audi R8 at Oulton Park today

Well - I have to say - what an impressive bolide!
My client had never been to a track day before, and we built up their skills during the day - and satisfyingly by the mid-afternoon we were catching and overtaking things that had whizzed by the in the morning sessions.
The car is awesome - we didn't change any settings etc or tyre pressures as it was cool and damp, but the gearchange is like a knife through butter and the squirt out of the first chicane up the hill was terrific! And that exhaust rasp.....
Want another go in 3 weeks' time - looking forward to it!

Glad the R8 went well.
Unfortunately the other trackday regulars in my motor club are not able to make Oulton Park on the 25th mainly because it is so close to our day at Donny that we arranged quite a while ago.
We will however be keeping an eye out for other days in the future.
