Good pubs in Harrogate

Works Xmass do 6th Dec,going to the races and then onto Harrogate for some more
can anyone recomend anywhere?

Normally go to the coach and horses for an after work beer.
But for something a bit more lively head around Prospect Place or John street
see which bar looks the best.

The Old Bell Tavern is canny. Its a real ale pub so not sure if its to everyones taste.

Sorry forgot about this.

It's this Saturday,most of us are in our 30/40s so we don't want to be somewhere full of kids.
Think we will leave the nag racing at tea time head off to harrogate and the minibus is picking us up at 1:30 am.
There will be around 15 people,i'm guessing we will need food at somepoint,prob best if we split up for this though.
Last year they ended up at a lapdancing club,is there any in Harrogate?

wildcats is right on the corner next to the bus station, you really cant miss it, its on the 1-way loop round harrogate, so easy to find. Never been in personally so have no idea what its like though. Btw if you want somewhere nice to drink, look up the blues bar. Its on the same side road as bettys, usually have some gd live music going on in there.
