Greatest Stage Prescence?

[cobra kid]

I taped Queen live at Wembley 1986 from a music channel the other night. I never realised just what presence Freddie Mercury had even in front of so many people.
Who else recently could live up to him for showmanship and sheer force of personality?

Funny but the moment I read the title I thought 'Freddie Mercury'.

The Ping-Pong girl in Amsterdam.

Not sure about her personality... but she was using plenty of force!

BB King and Chuck Berry. Both extraordinary. King for his sheer godlike skills and Berry for his unparalled energy and feck he's a good guitarist. Two of the very very best.

also there was good, but they played knebworth in august, think that was the final gig, and they were better, probably the sound quality made it seem better...but what a gig..
we managed to get down the front when the gig started..one vision... still gives me goose bumps

I don't like his music, but he's probably the best current performer.

Robbie Williams

Ever seen the performance he did with Tom Jones?

He's jumping all over the stage desperately trying to not be the one tricky pony that he is.

Meanwhile Tom is on the sidestage, not trying, just being Tom.

Williams might as well have been in a different theatre.
