Dimensions of roll cage for e36 coupe

I need to find some dimensions for a roll cage as my father in law wants to make one. Any advise on dims or websites etc

Most people seem to use http://www.customcages.co.uk/ for the E36.

If you're having one built, wont it just be done in the car and designed to fit as you go?
