I think wrong and right stems from how we would like others to treat us.

This stems from pain and emotion, which in term stems from evolution.

Evolution has selected for pain and emotion? How do they confer a selective advantage?

Surely any sick thing you can think of has been practised some some tribe or group somewhere over the course of history. Incest and indiscriminate killing are about the only wrongs I can immediately think of that would be selected against.

Ah, the question of moral absolutes that has been discussed for millenia.

I'm sure PH will have it sorted in about 5 minutes.

There is no singular definition of wrong and right in any given situation. Societal, economic, and cultural differences will have a massive impact on right/wrong. It's subjective.

As the thread on the africa proved this morning.

One of my favourite sayings is straight from the movie 'Twelve Monkeys'

"There is no right, or wrong... Only popular opinion"
