Thrown into the road by scum kids who think it's funny to do such things. It landed enxt to us in a line of stationary traffic and then went off, shooting something through the window that hit me right in the face, just above my right eye.

I have a few little cuts and my ears are not right..... Ringing like f*ck. I'm absolutely livid. First thing I did last night was check I wasn't burned or anything then I broke free of my girlfriend who was trying to hold onto me in the car and went after the little c*nts.

Couldn't catch them because they had gotten too far away, but by god, I wish I had. I'd have killed them.

My girlfriend later said you shouldn't go after people incase they do something else etc. but I told her that these little scrotes only did what they did because they believe nobody will challenge them or give them a good hiding, which is exactly what they need.

So f*cking mad! Just feel sorry for those with young kids, I mean where can you take them these days without worrying about what might happen as a result of idiots?!

I have a mate, who had a firework blow up in front of him at New Year....really lucky to still be here, the daft wee bugger (He's 26, and he was doing a firework display for his work....before you think he's some chav hehe )

And your girlfriend is right, you don't know what they could have done

Reported it to the police? Somebody else might know the kids and have reported it also - just waiting for a victim to come forwards.

That is horrible, I'm not surprised you're raging about it. Have to say I do agree with your girlfriend, who knows what they could have done next.

Would it be worth the risk of getting another firework in your face?

I'd probably want to punch their lights out too, it's a difficult one.

Talking from experience, I reckon your ears will be alright, but it'll take a couple of months of hearing things as if you are underwater for them to get back to normal.

A 'friend' let of a party banger right next to my ear last christmas and it wasn't untill june time that my hearing was right.

I was gutted, my hearing is on thing that I'd least like to loose, so i feel your pain. Hope it turns out alright.

It is, but do it anonymously. If you even grab one by the shoulder you'll be up in court and it'll be you with the criminal record, not the scum who tried to blind you.

Well presumably they will go on and throw fireworks at everyone else until people do what the OP did and chase after them.

There's only one thing worse than anti-social behaviour and that is cowardice to do anything about it.

I don't think it's cowardice, it's fear! I'd be terrified!

It's not always cowardice. I'd think twice if there were witnesses purely because these scum kids have the support of the justice system. They are to all intents and purposes beyond the law.

Thats the definition of cowrdice - allowing your fear to overcome you.

Sod it, I'm a coward then. But I'm a coward with a face...

Irrelevant, always report it as it is a crime and if you don't report it the government can say crime is down.

I should report it really, aye. I am meant to be off to watch a band tomorrow night..... Not sure what to do for best. Paid for tickets, really looking forward to it and don't wanna not do it just because of some scumbags, you know what I mean?

There were hundreds of witnesses in the queue of traffic but if I am totally honest, I wouldn't have hesitated to beat the crap out of them if I'd caught them, because I was just so overcome by rage that I wouldn't care!
