Afternoon all! I was worried my lovely Chim was running a little on the hot side over the last few weeks and narrowly avoided a nasty overheating incident yesterday. I'd noticed the fans seemed to have something of a life of their own and so decided to get a new otter switch as that seemed to be the likely culprit.
After much effing and blinding and catching knuckles on various sharp metal objects I managed to replace it. I noticed that the switch I took out appears to be a 96/91 C one instead of the 92/86 (or whatever the exact temps are). Is the 96/91 an older version or is it an incorrect replacement done earlier on?
(It also says Elmwood 3000 on it if that's a help?) I'm not hugely concerned about it as hopefully it will solve the problem, just interested that's all

Acording to the bible the correct switch is a 92/87. The original switch being a 96/92.

You could always fit a fan override switch if your still worried.
