Ignition off rattle!

I know this may sound stupid but never owned a Monaro before so i dont know whats normal and whats not.

When i switch the igntion the car sort of make a short rattling noise and shakes slighty, is this normal due to the size of the engine, or is there something abnormal?

As i say be gently i just getting used to things.

I heard the same thing, both the VXR specialist and Monkfish said "tis the gear box, they all do it"

Thanks mate, thats put my mind at rest? Now i just got to find out where an annoying rattlings coming from in the boot

Know exactly what you mean, mine does the same and has done since purchase over a year ago. Probably just another ro quirk!

Makes less noise if you hold the clutch down when you turn it off.
No mechanical benefit but makes you feel slightly better

Mine does it so not unique to the English cars. I always thought it sounded like it comes from the engine?
