Discussion
if your planning to go to this show then please come and say Hi to me. I'll be in Hall 2 on the DDK stand with my 1968 911s.
DDK will be handing over a large cheque to McMillans Cancer support

and hopefully we will raise a little more for them during the show.dn't worry we won't be pestering anyone for donations. BUT if you are passing then please drop your used show tickets in to our standand at the end of the show we can claim some money back from the show organisers all of which we will donate streight to the charity fund.
DDK stand will have a sillver 914, a burgandy 356 cab, and my 911s for you to have a nose around, please do come and chat to us.

i'm presuming my exhibitors pass for the classic show won't admit me into MPH so i'd need to buy tickets to get into the MPH show.??
Nope, once you are in, you are in all the shows regardless of exhibitor or visitor. (Or at least that was how it was last year). The Top Gear Live show is a separate matter, and I'm not sure how many tickets are left, if any. I know we get a free allocation as an MPH exhibitor, but I'm pretty sure mine are lost.

thanks Tinman, i'll come and have a nose around MHP show then. i'll not be able to spare the time to go and see the Topgear show anyway.
i enjoy manning the stand at these shows far to much to wonder off for long. get a real buzz out of it.
Have to admit i'm enjoying being on the stand as well. Its one of those things that i enjoyed in the past so I'm making the most of this time round, if that makes sense.i enjoy manning the stand at these shows far to much to wonder off for long. get a real buzz out of it.
NEC is different for us. At Earls Court the later TG shows suck out all the visitors from the exhibition hall so you get a well earned rest. We had a Wii set up on our big screen, various other stands were buying remote controlled helicopters (great fun watching exhibitors smash an rc helicopter into their expensive supercar). But at NEC, when the MPH visitors have gone to the show we get all the Classic Car Show traffic.
So if you are going for a wander in the MPH hall, do it on the later shows and you'll find it less busy.
PHers also all welcome to the Gordon-Keeble Owners Club stand, where my car (the blue one) will be on display. This summer I finished a major rebuild, including putting in a 383 cubic inch roller cam Chevy engine and Muncie gearbox. I will be around Saturday and Sunday, probably spending most time on the stand on Sunday. I'm also staying over in Brum on Saturday night -any local PHers have suggestions for food/drink, or is there anyone else staying over who'd like to meet up for a beer and curry/whatever?
