Some more medium format
Discussion
I'm pretty proud of these pictures as there the first half decent results ive gotten so far. Last weekend i went a drive up north and tried to shoot as much M/F as i could, ended up shooting 6 rolls between my new hasselblad and bronica. ended up with alot of rubbish mostly due to bad exposures but these few stood out to me. Ive got some more that look alright but have given up scanning them in and resizing them because my computers so slow with the big files (~100MB).

I think theres a couple of niggles with the hasselblad, for some reason every so often a frame doesnt get exposed at all, 4 in each roll but im not sure if theres any order to when it happens or if its just random. Also on a couple of frames theres a lighter strip to the left hand side would this mean its needing some new light seals?

Thanks for the comments was quite dissapointed how few decent shots i got from all the rolls i shot but was expecting that, these though are better than i was expecting them to be.

Beautifully exposed. The colour is great in these, what film did you use?
The first and last ones are velvia with the bronica and the other two fuji astia with the blad.tuffer said:

Im sure this has been asked here before but do you develop your own film or send it off to get developed?. Ive been tempted to try Medium Format for a long time but no longer have access to a dark room and this has put me off a fair bit.
I send it to peak imaging for developing, its pretty easy and hassle free. Costs about £3.40 a roll and £2.50 for postage. I usually post them on a monday morning on my way to college and get them back wednesday or thursday.Monochrome said:
Oooooooooooffffffff first shot of those last two is damn good. What film were you shooting. Did you do any digital post work.
The last two were velvia, post work was just sharpening and a small touch of contrast. those last two i tried to get some detail from the underexposed areas but i hate how it looks when you do that so just left it as it was.Edited by alanw89 on Sunday 9th November 17:02
