I would freeze (and not literally due to the cold) up there... not to mention probably drop half the planks, bolts, hammers.

That really is skill / art / science and BIG BALLS!

...I got sweaty palms just watching that.eek

+1 on the sweaty palms.. lordy that's a difficult job!

Proper legend he was - showed such an appreciation for all things mechanical - a proper Pistonheader if ever there was one!

  • edit to say, I'm going to get nowt done today watching Fred repeats on Youtube!
It just makes you realise what an engaging character he was, very forthright, but honest and interesting. Makes knobs like Ross and Brand really highlight what shallow waster's they really are.
