Anyone recommend a tyre fitter in or near Leeds?

Don't mind mobile one where they come to you.

Going to need 2 Toyo fronts for my Tamora fairly soon and I don't fancy taking it to Harehills, which is where I have to take my other cars since Kwik Fit stopped fitting tyres bought via the internet.

I use TFM. Think they're based in Morley, but they come to you.

I used Briggate Garage in Hunslet last time for the Tuscan as they are a black circles fitting agent. Service was great.

I got my last 2 rears from Andy Turner, iirc there was a slight mix up with the locking wheel nut of yours, but unless your wheels are too big he should be able to do them for you.

So does Andy supply tyres as well?

He didn't have my wheel lock as it happens - I don't think he would lose one judging by how neat his garage is.

I've probably stuck it in the fridge or something.

Must be getting old.

Good to hear, i know he keeps his place clean when i've been there.

He got 2 tyres for me from a local supplier. He was actually going to go and pick them up and fit them for me on his day off one friday (one of his children was being christened that weekend) but when he ordered them he realised they weren't actually at that depot so they came a bit late in the day, so instead he kindly came in on a saturday just to fit my tyres. I could have probably got them a bit cheaper online but they needed changing for sunday and Andy wouldn't have been able to fit them till monday.

If there was more time Andy said it would work out cheaper to buy the tyres online then have him fit them seperatly. He is an authorized fitter for a couple of the big online retailers so you can probably get them delivered straight to him.

If you have enough tread left then give him a call, check he can fit tyres big enough, i think he modded his machine to do 18-19" rims currently, then he can tell you which online retailers to try and how much he charges to fit them. If you need them straight away then he can possibly get them from his supplier but they may cost more. He even seemed to line up the light weight dot on the tyre with the valve to help wheel balance with minimal extra weight.

Thanks to Andys wife for letting him leave preparations to fit my tyres as well .
