I just got the letter (V11) through the post from the DVLA and for 12 months was quoted £210. I was expecting to be stung with a £400 bill for the year.

I just wondered if the DVLA have cocked up or if this is right?

It's next year they start shooting the prices up to silly ones, and the year after...

Just taxed my December 2004 registered RX8 for £210. I believe that if the car was registered before 2006 you pay the £210, if registered after the date when the government introduced the CO2 emmissions tax, sometime in 2006, you pay the new higher rate of £400.
