to paint or not to paint

my question is simple, I have a spectraflair silver t350c, I have repaired some damage to the rear of the vehicle and obviously now need it painting.
Chap near me at sportmotive is going to paint it.
Question is I have had a nightmare trying to locate the paint; its a long story but the guys at surface and design are trying to help me out by formulating the colour.
What should I do?......paint the car a different colour? or keep it the same.
A standard colour would be alot cheaper to touch up if needed in the future, the spectraflair will not.

If that's the case and you can't get the colour I suppose you will have to go for another one, however I would prefebly go for the same colour especially spectraflair silver, nice colour !
If all else fails send Gerbil an e-mail via this website he may be able to help, he formulated alot of the TVR colours when the factory was in full swing, he's really approachable and will try to help out. He also helps out at surface and design so hopefully they can do it for you, if Gerb's can't help I think it's another colour personally.
