Tuscan Oil Change

Hi,

I've had a Tuscan for a few weeks now. Love the car and it's pretty much spot on.

One thing I want to be sure of is the age of the oil, not sure when it was last changed so I'm going to change it.

I haven't looked into it much but how do you go about changing the oil in these cars. My other dry sump car is a major drama, is it a matter of just draining the oil, changing the filter and then toping her up?

What oil do we recomend for this car (2000 Speed 6 with 7k on the engine)? How many litres does it take?

an oil change will at least give me something to do car-wise in this terrible weather!

I watched mine being done there is a drain on the block as well as the oil tank change filter job done. There can be issues with priming the pump but just be swift should be okay. MAKE SURE OIL PRESSURE COMES UP INSTANTLY if it does not it's plugs out ignition disconnected turn engine over until you have pressure.
I use Castrol R1 runs a lot quieter than Mobile 1. 6 to 8 litres should do the job

I've changed the oil on my 2001 tuscan a few times. I always warm car up and then drain the oil from the tank with the magnetic sump plug at the front of the car, the one which faces horizontaly at you. Where is the second place you can drain more oil? Please can someone let me know as i only get about 6 litles out.

The second plug is a square inverted plug on the actual sump in the middle of the engine off side. If you use a 3/4 rachet head it fits straight in. If you run your fingers along the sump pan you will feel it.
