That's fantastic, how on earth they ever thought that was a story to write about is beyond me rofl

ETA My OH has to leave the room when the local non news comes on the TV it winds her up so much.

Central TV did a reasonable effort last week, with a fairly innocent story about an old boy who had been tending the same allotment for sixty years. But they just had to spoil it and go overboard by exaggerating and filling the story with such complete total utter blatant downright lies that it had me screaming at the telly. And this was just a pensioner on an allotment story.

I do like this one from The Portsmouth News.

rofl I'm sure he's "asleep" when he's doing it.
