I have an N96. I'm pleased with it. It doesnt crash like my N95 did and the battery lasts for ages. It has a power saving feature which I dont quite understand but it works.

The only negative is that the TV function doesnt work because we dont transmit that way in the UK, but other than that I must say its the best phone I have ever had. I always have Nokia's though so I can't give you a comparions against the others. Oh and it does accept a 16gig card, giving you 32gig total.. not bad for a phone biggrin

I have an iphone and I'd say it can't punch its weight when compared with other 'new' phones.

It looks good afterall it was the must have fashion accessory of the year. However with the likes of the N96 coming out it can't cut the mustard when compared to the features.

Better camera
Video camera

Or if I was you I'd look at one of the phones with 8 megapixel digicams on...not even cameras have that! Well some...

I had a Sony walkman phone before the iphone. Would be wrong to compare it with the more modern phones because it wasn't in the same league.

However it was easy to use, great if you liked taking photos and I'd recommend Sony.

iphone is just a fasion statement with it missing some key features that you can buy on a £29.99 pay as you go phone. However, not bad non the less. N96 cracking phone, though seems a bit cheap and plasticy compared to the N95... yes it has potentially 32gb mem, but will you fill it??? I player os great mind, pitty we cannot use the promised digi TV here....

N95 8gb, great phone as an all rounder...

Sony ericsson are good phones, but thy are generally all the same.. other than they put better cameras on their camera phones.. and more memory on ther walkman phones... the walkman phones are all basically the same just a different shape and the all the Camera phones are all the same with bigger cameras...

Consider the Samsung Omnia....

or the renoir LG

or the sony Ericsson X1 if you want a diferent phone...(yes all sonys are the same, except this one)

Have both of these. And a N96. And a some G1s.

Prefer the iPhone. And I'm not an apple man usually.

It really depends what you will use your phone for. I have the iPhone, and think it is great. I do not worry about the camera, as I have a proper digital camera for photos. Lack of MMS is a bit annoying, but I think I have only sent about 2 MMS's in my life, so it isn't really an issue. IMO, the iPhone is unbeatable when it comes to media. Best music player, as it is essentially an ipod that can text and phone etc. With an O2 contract, you get unlimited data, so almost full internet will always be in your pocket. The user interface is really good, and very easy to use. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you are, I can't see why other phones would even cross your mind. Ultimately though, it depends on what you need a phone for, and how much you are willing to pay initially, and then per month. That's my two pence worth.

My next upgrade is the X1. Was having a play with one in the Vodafone store yesterday, they are uber. The C905 is supposed to be an excellent bit of kit as well. I've currenty got an N95 8Gb, and it will be my last Nokia. Rubbish battery, rubbish software, rubbish build quality. I'm on my second and the backlighting on the keys has just gone.

I'd have to agree about the bluetooth thing. It can be annoying. But then again, it isn't something you do all the time, and there are ways around it. I think I might give Blackberry a go once my contract runs out on the iPhone.
