I was under the mistaken impression that the Bluetooth capability would have access to my contacts etc on my mobile phone which is a Nokia N95. I have now realised the phone needs to be in a cradle for that function.

I am now getting conflicting versions of if there is a cradle for that phone available. Can someone clear this up for me please. Is there a cradle for the Nokia N95 available or not?

I was told not by LR, but that may have now changed...

BlueTooth should allow you access to your SIM contacts, but only if you Enable SIM Access in BT settings within the phone. May be worth having a hunt in there and see if that changes matters.

I think there's a Bluetooth upgrade available from the dealer, I plan to ask them to do it at the next service. There's certainly a technical service bulletin out there for the North American vehicles, see this link:

Cheers guys,

Just checked on the LR website and it lists the phone as fully compatible. However no mention of being able to use the phone book. So still have to fidget with the phone to make/receive a call.

The link posted was interesting, thank you, but obviously American so may not apply here. I never see anyones number only the name so i don't know anyones number so i can't just dial it from the touch screen, this is quite frustrating.

I have an 07 TDV8 and i used a 6300 to get all the phone memory loaded up then you can use most nokia's with it.

See if you can borrow a phone to get your contacts migrated accross then use your normal phone.

I have the same N95 and I think it states in the book that you cant get the address book up, I think you can load names and numbers via the screen, alright its a pain in the arse first time around but im planning on just putting in the 10 or so main numbers that I use, I think you can then use the voice activated thing to and just say " PHONE " whoever
