Hi all,

Has anyone used the above company for refurbing alloys? I've got nothing flash - just a Minilite-esque 14" wheel from my Caterham that is in need of stripping & repainting (front & back) and I thought I'd try and get it done locally this Winter.

Are there any other companies close to Newbury/Reading that provide a similiar service?

Thanks,

Spingo

Sorry, not used them; I've used BJV Engineering in near Watford, and they will collect and deliver if you have a set of 4 done.

Sorry, probably not much help.

I've used them. They're not the cheapest and for the money I paid I expected my alloys to be as new when I received them back. Unfortunately they didn't do the diamond cut finish I was expecting. They were powder coated and lacquerd.

They don't refurb them on site, so should give you a courtesy set of wheels so you're not car-less. However because the wheel differ in size from front to rear on my car, they didn't have a set, so mine was in their premises for 5 days. Usually you drop your wheels off on Monday and then pick up on Friday.
