Oh well, while assumptions are POSSIBLY being made about the manner in which TVRs are driven....when are people going to be taught how to use a blinkin slip road ! mad

It could just have easily been some indecisive 30mph idiot jamming their brakes on at the end of the slip road because of their crap driving 'skills'.getmecoat

Im relatively local (only a mile or two away)

Its quite a long slip road, but mostly 30mph as you pass the induistrial units/car dealerships. can be quite busy, hence the 30 limit. parked cars are quite prevelent on the edge of the road.

Hope the occupants are ok.

Hmm, for some reason I assumed it was not that one, but the slip road at the other end of Tadcaster - the one that is a tight left hand radius off the flyover...

Steering locked over, slippy road, No ABS (Not sure on a Cerb?) less visibility...

It was the straight slip road onto the A64 East Bound

Bounced off a few parked cars I think!

I'm surprised.
That section is pretty foolproof, and visibility very good, unless someone were to pull out of one of the entrances on the left right in front of you. confused

Lets not start guessing what may or may not have happened.

Hope they will both make a full recovery

Spot on, none of us apart from whoever was in the right seat of the TVR knows what happened, speculating like this makes us no better than the local press, let's wait until the driver tells us what happens.

hey

i was the woman in this crash!...i have just got out of hospital after nearlly 5 week. i shattered my pelvis which has also damaged my nerves in my leg so its not working properly yet. so im in a wheelchair for now. hopefully will be able to walk in a few months with crutches. i also broke my skull, jaw, cheekbone, ribs, finger, i damaged my splean. punctured my lung. but i was very very lucky to survive. it will be a long and slow road to proper recovery but at least i am still alive. the driver is fine, he didnt have to stay in hospital.

Hi Sarah! Jeeese that is a hefty list of injuries, hadnt realised it was that bad from what i read, as you say thank god you're still with us, sounds like it could have easily been worse. Best wishes for a full recovery from me and im sure everyone on here.

I'm scared to get another TVR now!
