No loon. Quite old news.........

Edited to say That Hal Turner does in fact appear to be a loon, imo, regarding many of his other beliefs. However, his 'exposing' of the Amero in general terms does tie in with what I understand is going on .Whether or not the specifics of what he said are true is another matter.

I didn't watch all of it but flicked along to see if he was going to say anything rather then show off a coin made in his shed.

But at 8 minutes he suggests putting money into French Francs but not the euro? confused

Even for a fiat currency paranoid nut job like myself this is pushing it.

The big advantage the US has is the dollar is the worlds reserve currency which lets dear old Uncle Sam run up huge deficits and get away with it. Why would they want to get rid of that little trick?

Eventually the dollar will go the way of all currencies but not quite yet.

Most proberly brought it from the guy who designed and sells the coin (along with other parody coins such as the Nuke Mexico quarter) at www.dc-coin.com

Until recently, I didn't realise how many PHers were full blown, credulous, tin foil hatted, ignoramuses. Any old CT, they'll post it up with the same old fallacious arguments to back it up.

I once thought that the internet would allow the world to share knowledge, grow and learn. It has, in fact, become an instrument of the idiot, the kind of idiot that will believe any old bullst on a web site, with no evidence whatsoever, as long as that web site is 'alternative'.

Dumbasses.

yes I'm astounded by the number people dragging out conspiracy theories here over the past few weeks. I suppose it's around times of uncertainty that these things flourish on peoples quest for a neat and easy explanation of the world.

I love conspiracy theories - they remind me that there's always someone out there who's madder than me. I find that reassuring.

...... Have a look into NAFTA, CAFTA, SPP. Who met in 2001 in Quebec to agree on all this?

Who met in Fort Worth May June 07 and why? Ever heard of NASCO?

Who is Robert Pastor?

Who is Robert Mundell?

Steve Previs ( on the CNBC clip said "the Americans have their heads in the sand except for the Texans.) Why?

Who met in Banff, (Banff Springs Hotel) Canada in 2006 and why?

Look at what the world leaders have been saying in the press over the last few weeks about the Global Financial Systems and what must be done........

it would amaze me if it did happen, The yanks bang about how there should be total free market, yet they seem to live by the doctrine of protectionism... Its probably a way IF it did happen to swallow up Mexico and Canada to be more of a force to be reckoned with against the pesky/sneaky Russians...

But most conspiracies take a grain of truth and spin a tale out of it.

There are infinitives to improve trade between the US/Canada and US/Mexico. NAFTA is big news but there are many other trade agreements between countries. One day in the far and distant future this may include some kind of EU style setup in America but I'd say it's rather unlikely to happen any time soon.

Even if it did I'd be very surprised if it was to happen in the nature suggested here.

The chap linked to in the OP is spouting totally unmitigated rubbish (or garbage to our Amero spending chums). It really isn't something worthy of intelligent debate and I'm surprised to see this crap yet again.
