Got some yesterday. I haven't had it in yonks, not since the auld fella died. He used to salt them down himself.

Aside from the traditional soaking overnight, then boiling in a 50:50 mix of milk and water, has anyone got any ideas? I remember having very tasty salted cod in a Tapas Bar once, but haven't a clue how they did it.
