Purchased a couple of items from a seemingly reputable US Seller of sports clothing. Paid via PayPal. Received them very quickly, but wrong size so he confirmed via a quickly responded to email that there would be no issue returning them and on receipt he would issue a refund. Returned via AirMail (not trackable) on 22nd October. Since then I have sent two emails politely inguiring as to whether he has received said items. NO response at all, which leads me to believe that he has indeed received them (why else the silence).

Now as a Seller he knows he risks Negative feedback, so what is in it for him by NOT responding to my emails.

Protocol - What to do next? Shall I leave it a few more days? Do I contact PayPal before leaving feedback. Or shall I leave the feedback commenting feedback will be removed as and when I receive a refund? I am a relatively infrequent user of Ebay, and this is my first negative experience, so not quite sure how best to go about this.

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks.

I would definitely say it is worth leaving it a few more days. Could be a simple explanation to the lack of response. If you are still not contacted, I believe the transaction will be insured by paypal, so they should, in theory, refund you if you don't have the items. Once the transaction is complete, refund, or you receive the items, then leave feedback. I was recently messed about on eBay. I just set myself a limit on how long to wait, then acted once that time had come. That is what i would do. Hope it helps.

You read too quickly! wink. I received the items, returned them confirming refund would be no problem. As yet he has not replied to confirm receipt and refund to be actioned. So I am deciding what to do next.

BSR - Serious Question? wink. I will wait another week and then contact him again via email suggesting I have no option than to leave neg feedback pending a satisfactory resolution? Yes? No?
