Petrol head jobs in the Midlands..
Discussion
Morning fellow Midlanders,
I am posting this as I am really at a loss as to where/what to do/go next.
I am a 25 year old man with a history in car sales and a real passion for cars - in particular anything older than about 10/15 years old. Although I appreciate some of the more interesting modern machinery that is about.
Although I come from a sales background I am really not keen to go back into it as I have had enough of the BS that comes with it and the current state of the market doesn't help.
I really want to start enjoying work again but am currently at a complete loss as to what to look for.
Please, any suggestions or heads up gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.

4 years car sales. 3 years at uni doing Advertising Marketing and PR (not quite finished yet as one module to complete) and very good people skills.
I would like to be in a position where I can manage people and hopefully make a positive impact on their lives.
I most recently worked for a Luxury car brand but was constantly frustrated by how much customer service I wasn't allowed to give.

Chris,
go back and finish your degree if you get a chance - you'll regret it if you don't. Then get yourself a job working for a marketing/PR dept for a car company.
P.S. you coming to either the NEC this weekend (classic car meet and Saab pub meet afterwards on the sat - usual WMWSOC meeting place) or Norse day at the Ace Cafe in london the weekend after?

Hello matey,
I am in the process of finishing the degree - currentley got the one bit to do but the uni have lost my original work that I need to work from!
As for this weekend I am around but 'money's too tight to mention... Although if I get to the pub afterwards I've got a rather cool mod or two to show you, been doing lots of wiring in my spare time.
