as clive pointed out previously, air intake, which is mid way up the block and at an angle may be a problem. you may be able to remove the throtle body and make an adaptor pipe, which then mounts the throtle elsewere. this may give the required clearance.
turning the blower/cooler assembly around and removing the blower jackshaft drive would be the other option. this is similar to how Crafty's magnacharger instalation was done. standard magnacharger LS install runs a similar jack shaft to drive the charger.
