Ouija boards...

Has anyone tried one or witnessed one?
I have witnessed two of them and don't believe they were being controlled by the people involved.
At some points they went quite mad as the 'spirit' became restless and made no sense.
During one of them the 'spirit', who identified herself as the dead mother of someone sitting in around the table, told the room that a man present would die of cancer the next year, and he did. That's not made up as I was there and witnessed it first hand!

Did one years ago for something to do on a wet Sunday afternoon.
There were lots of remarkable things that happened, but the one that sticks out was when we were 'testing' it. We took it in turns to take our hands off the glass and ask it personal questions about the person who'd removed their finger. I asked it the registration number of that person's works van and it spelled it out!! No-one else could have known it including me!!
We even asked questions just by thinking them and it got the answers right too!!
We also noticed that the less people with physical contact to the glass we were using the slower it moved.
And we all also noticed there was some sort of misty glow from inside the glass too.
Never done it since.
Edited due to sausage fingers.

My flatmates were having a Ouija board session when I got back from seeing a gig by The Rollins Band.
I had been punched in the face in the moshpit, and had split my nose and lip. I had a lot of blood on my face and down my t shirt. It was a great gig.
One of my flatmates who had resisted the whole Ouija thing was a vicar's daughter. She took one look at my happy little face and ran off screaming into her room.
One of my other mates said he'd been moving the glass with his finger.

Dunno if I believe in them or not.
Do people have contact with nice ghosts, or are they all mental nasty ones?
I did one once years ago at school when we were bored. To make it even more realistic we tied some string to a pen and let it dangle so that we couldn't accuse people of fixing it.
We asked it the house number of one of the guys around the table and it went to it straight away. 28. never again

Had a period of doing these regularly when i was at school (which had a religious background, inclusing the site itself which contained a chapel and graveyard amongst other things) with various mates. Tried in the cloakroom without luck, and various other places - even tried on someones grave (oh the stupidity of youth.)
Cant say anything did actually happen, glass never moved on its own that for sure. However it did scare the absolute s
t out of me and had trouble sleeping for a while.
Hoppy - ours were made from pieces of paper set out in a circle with letter/numbers/ye/no options.

Not done one, but my sister did. A small child contacted them (so they said) and when they asked questions it was a passenger on a crashed plane. After the session they all went off to look into it, and discovered a plane did indeed crash when the spirit had said it did etc.. My sister s**t herself and hasn't used one since, nor did any of the other people !!
