A few questions guys: Anyone got any they don't want? I've got wortec cat back, what will fit? Do i need sport cats to get the sound or will the standard cats do? And will i need a remap? Not that interested in the extra gains, more for that lovely sound!

Ive just fitted some (on a budget) manifolds to my Vectra V6. I know its not a Ro but i wish id spent some money and got some proper ones. The back end of the cat is 3" lower than the rear section, now im paying a mate to cut and reshut so it will all line up.

Buy cheap Buy twice!!

I think they will be far and few. Phone the usual suspects to see if they have anything 2nd hand. Wortec would probably be best for you to match. The headers will definitely enhance the sound of your existing cat-back and will get you gains without a re-map. A re-map, whilst beneficial, may not be cost effective (hp per £) if you have to get someone to do it for you. I'd wait for some engine mods before doing that. Cats? again going for sport cats against standard would net a minor gain but difference in sound I would think negligeable.

Hope you can get something sorted though, it is worth while IMHO. Shame about the retail price of the Wortec and indeed de fillipo, against some of the stuff from the states, but I suppose that's another cost of being right hand drive and you don't have much of an alternative until they get a bit of competition. No harm in asking for a deal though. I am sure buyer pressure helped reduce the cost of the AP brake kits to a more reasonable and affordable level.

Sorry, I must've been long winded again. Headers will give you an improvement in performance (as well as a better sound) without a remap.

Phone Monkfish, (I got some 2nd hand Wortec's from them) and try Rapid and Walkinshaw as well, you just never know.

Been offered these

Unfortunately i need to ask a few idiotic questions:
Do i need new gaskets?
Does anyone recognise the brand?
Is the split in the RHS "flange" intentional? The casting doesn't seem to line up - is it a 2 part cast for some reason?
Will OBX high flow cats bolt straight on?,
and join up to my wortec cat back?
TIA

The split flange is so that you can fit them in 2 pieces and minimise the amount of steering stuff to remove and replace.

yes new gaskets silly not too

would be intrested if these would bolt up to the standard exhaust thinking a set of these, standard cats then custom catback

Apart from the dodgy collectors. But depending on price, would give you gains over stock cast iron. They do look good. How much?

Apparently that taper helps... sometimes.. not that my current set has them. Actually I should have asked Roger to take a pic of the exhaust, it looks pretty good, nice and beefy 3" dual setup.

Cheaper than importing them yourself!
I'm sure the seller is open to offers and would be happy to Pm anyone who is interested.
For me the total for fitting and purchase is too much (for my budget) this side of xmas, but still a bargain I reckon.

Given the split design on the RHS you would be able to fit these easily yourself and save some cash. The old headers come off easily and the only problem I had when fitting my longtubes was on the drivers side where I had to drop the steering rack which you wouldn't have to do with these by the looks. Passenger side drops straight in.
