Well - the Elise is going to a new (family) home, so it's onwards and upwards.

Just had a ring from the factory to say that the time is nearly near for my first full spec test drive in the TS500. Car number uno numero will be mine sometime around January assuming all is well.

Full post of my review after I've had it - probably a week or two away.

Sounds interesting. I assume you're keeping the Noble hard top and scrapping the Noble spyder order?

No idea!

Funny enough I've just been talking to the factory about the GTC and "where is it???" - nothing solid forthcoming but noises are being made apparently.

It wouldn't bother me to have two soft tops, as the TS500 and Noble are aimed at different "moods" for me given the very different approach to engine power between them, and styling wise they are poles apart.

To that end if the GTC turns up sometime in the future then I'll certainly go for it.

Good to hear that something is happening with the TS500.
It was getting ominously quiet for a while there...

. . . and it was ominously quiet here too. No Marcos posts for a month! If it's of interest, I hear Jem's working on another book.

Delays to the TS500 have largely been caused by sorting the engine management system out.

Spoke to Marcos about progress the other week and have been promised test drive for PH soon.

However, unlike joust, I won't be taking delivery of one in January...

Life's all right for these rich buggers eh?

There's nowt wrong with enjoying money if you have it.
But he's still a git, cos his will have a bigger engine than mine, more power, more speed.....

Not forgetting that Quattro.

I agree with everyone else, Joust.

You're a git.

While I agree with this stance, as soon as Joust gets a TS500, git will become 'best mate'.
(That's my plan anyway....)

Marcos... one of the few things that'd tempt me out of a TVR...

Quite agree. The problem is that I don't fking have it!

Such is life for most PHers too I guess.

Don't begrude joust his fun for a minute - but that still doesn't stop me turning green with envy though.

What took so long ? Then again, I'll probably never even see one here in the USA ! Ask Stelliga if he ever plans on bringing one home to the USA. I'll gladly be his chauffeur.

Ooooooooo.......

I've worked a route out for you Joust......

Down the A23, come off at the Bolney slip onto the A272, head for Haywards Heath, left at The Dolphin......

I'll be the bloke standing by the road with drool running down his chin .
