Book Value?

Can anyone tell me where I can get the book value of a M400?

They don't have a book value. Too few ever made. Too much variation on condition.

Best checking Autotrader / Pistonheads classifieds to see the current prices. I've been surprised that the Noble prices have been fairly stable where a lot of the high end cars have dropped off considerably.

People obviously know a bargain when they see it

One of the owners of a Noble dealership told me directly when i first purchased the car from them. I guess the number he mentioned was referring to UK M400s. I dont know how many M12 cars were produced.

91 M12's were sold in the US and 128 M400's were sold in the US before production ceased in 2007. #220 (the last US M400) was never sold but was kept by the US distributor. I believe sales in the UK were between 400 and 500, but have never heard what the real breakdown was.

Not sure what the book value may be now but I've dropped mine progressively from 39k to 34k and only had a couple of cold calls - It's a 2005 model with 17k on the clock. See the ad's section surely at this price it's a bargain, isn't it?

There were over 500 M12's but under 100 M400's in the UK AFAIK.

UK new sales stopped way before the US did.

I've chatted to a few people about this and we estimate that there are less than 350 M12's in total left in the uk

it going to be a future classic for sure - i wonder how long till they start to rise in value

can anybody compare it to another classic car ?

So of the circa 600 cars there are only 350 left? I think your estimate may be a bit off there...

But Justi'ns post above yours suggests 500 M12s and under 100 M400s for the UK, so about 600 UK cars?

The last figure I saw was nearer 700 in the UK. Some will have gone to the great scrapyard in the sky though.

I was told only 75 off M400 were sold in the UK - that's from Noble so should be correct. Not sure about the aother derivatives.

The way we did this the last time it came up was by the build numbers. There are some old threads detailling owners coming back here with the highest numbers which gave a good indication.
