Had to go down to brighton last night so as it was nice and dry I took the cerb for a run. Got down there about 8pm and parked up to collect my son from university digs (narrow street so sounds are great from a sports exhaust! plus he knows when I've arrived) and out comes an angry resident telling me to " bu**er off cos you're filling my house with petrol". Obviously as it wasn't the noise that upset her I gave it plenty as we pulled away! Some people just don't appreciate British engineering.

It seems most people love to see 'em but as you say some just don't get it. I bought mine six months back and sometimes i feel as if some people find them too agressive for their sensitive little ears. ha ha!

Have to admit I now have an ACT quite exhaust system fitted.

Very nice deep sound that I find much more TVR like than the Blue Flame it replaced.

Plus if your car is throwing out petrol fumes, it might need a tune up?
Just had mine fail MOT on emmisions and turned out a throttle pot was duff!
