Couple more questions - seats, window and oil level

A couple more questions to raise to the masses,
My seats in the T350 (especially the passenger side) seem to lean inwards toward the trans tunnel which is causing my passengers a lot of discomfort on long journeys. Is this a case of TADTS or not? If so can anything be done about it?
Secondly, my drivers side window had a LOT of wind noise when closed. On further inspection there is quite a lrge gap between the glass and front of the roof frame, compared with virtually no gap on the pax side. Again can anything be done? It looks to me like the glass could press tighter to the rubber seal if the roof gap was smaller?
Lastly - Is there an easier way to check the oil without risking your head, hand, arm etc being burned on the engine? I wait till my engine is fully hot, stop it and run round to check the level - Is this the right procedure?

My seats don't do that (at least I don't think so - anyway we have never felt uncomfortable there).
My windows fit OK, but I've heard of others' that don't.
Your oil check procedure and associated dangers is spot-on!

As for the JP - Is that Kev-Vauxs old one? Have seen it but having just spent 21k on a car, got Xmas coming up, car insurance end of the month, wedding end of Jan and a honeymoon I'm more than a little skint at present. May see if he's willing to do a deal but unfortunately I don't have a spare £225 at present.

Some do some don't apparently they are packed out with washers on one side to avoid the top of the seat fouling the rollcage - there's a (recent-ish) thread about it around here somewhere...My seats in the T350 (especially the passenger side) seem to lean inwards toward the trans tunnel which is causing my passengers a lot of discomfort on long journeys. Mine's much the same - haven't got around to looking into it - I suspect my probelm might be caused by the door not being pulled tight against the door seals due to catch mis-alignment - might get 'round to looking at this one day!Zippee said:

That's pretty much it. I've lessened the risk of 3rd degree burns by acquiring a welding gauntlet. There was also some talk either on this forum or the Speed 6 one discussing measuring oil level when cold. If you check the oil when hot and wait for the engine to cool and the oil to drain back into the engine from the scavenge tank and then measure it again, you could get a reference point as to where the oil level should be when 'cold'. In theory this should work well, but personally I like the strange looks I get when I pull on a leather glove and rootle around under the bonnet!Zippee said:

The factory put some washer under the seat rails to tilt them inwards to stop the seat hitting the roll bar. So if there is clearance you maybe able to take a few washers out!
