Could the knowledgeable folks on here please tell me where I might find a pin for the bracelet on my watch. It's not a spring pin, it appears to be a two part one with a burred end which hold the folding bits (pardon the cr*p description) all the local places reach for the spring pins and then look dumb when it won't fit.

does this pin hold the bracelet to the watch or is it a pin that holds the bracelet together?

Doesn't sound like a description of a spring bar to me, the watch brand and model would help and an image should clear up the confusion fairly quickly. It sounds like your after a pin for a clasp but without a better description that's just guessing.

No, that's a rawl pin(I think?) never seen one fitted to a watch.

The pin I'm talking about has two burred ends which hold the braclet together. It's two piece, one screws/fits into the other.

I'll take a picture and post it.

The pin in the pic is the style that Seiko use and I'd be keen to know where they can be sourced smile

Brilliant Pesty, thanks. The very poor description I gave appears to be a pressure bar and rivet. http://www.cousinsuk.com/catalog/4/667/1998.aspx

I called in to one of the department store 'booths' at the weekend and a very good young lady fixed it FOC for me.
