My 3 year old daughter put my sub mariner in the washing machine , the crown actually snappd and the watch filled with water claimed on insurance but still got watch for spares - any ideas ?

That's pretty poor performance, you'd have thought a Sub would stand up to a wash assuming the drum had clothes in it and it wasn't getting beaten to hell. Actually, I'd expect a Sub to take a beating, myself.

  • Very* surprised the crown snapped - it's screwed on! Was this a very early model?
