Hi guys,
Sorry this is a bit of a random post however I have just been for a short spin in the new RS6 and it was amazing. The first Audi RS I have had the pleasure of.. One of my clients turned up in it, I assumed he must be a petrolhead so I popped the question. He only took for me a short spin, but after going in a Gallardo SL recently I am still very impressed. All I can say is WOW!!!! Can't stop grinning!! What I start to the weekend. Also saw a LP640 and F430 on my way back home, I hope it will be a supercar filled weekend.
Glad I got that off my chest lol. Anyone on here been in one/driven one?
Cheers
Adam

I drove one the other day. Car was prepped to go out and tracker man managed to blow the ABS fuse. So i had to replace it clear the fault memory and go check the ABS traction control and ESP, and all associated electricals were working before it went out.
Well what a car, there is so much grip, people say it doesn't handle as well as the old one, I would disagree, think its fine, very very good for a big car. Typically Audi, no oversteer possible no M5 like power slides, just grip grip and more grip than the slightest understeer controlled and progressive all round. Compared with the S8 which has air suspention and bounces all over the place, the RS6 is just awesome, compaired to a sidways drifting M5 or similar proper rear wheel drive sports car, people might say its a bit dull, but every where but the race track the RS6 would be better.
Gearbox is so much smoother and refined compared to older RS6 and at 100mph is sooo quiet and smooth. Ride is firm but much more compliant that the older one, wish i think is a bit crashy. All in all a fantastic car.
Just out of interest, anyone else tried one. I'm sure its faster from say 50 - 100 than from 0 - 50. I think it must limit boost in first gear but cant find any proof of it written down. Be interesting to know it any one else noticed.
