Time has come to start building the pile of parts I will need to go EFI.
Having just taken voluntary redundancy I will have plenty of time but a lot less money.
So has anyone got anything EFI related laying around that they want to move on.
Anything from, and including, manifold upwards.

Thanks
Steve

Sorry to hear that Steve......I thought you were a dyed in the wool carb man boxedin

No seriously, good for you having the balls to jump ship. Hope you get all you want done in your down time, and get back in there when you need to, with something right up your street.

At least the Ultima forum has gained a full time Tech Advisor!!!

For which engine?

I have a brand new boxed ultima/ls7 wiring harness and an ls7 E38 pcm that I don't need at the moment. Plus I'll sell it for less then if you ordered it from a main US seller.

Yes, should have said the engine is SBC 407ci running AFR heads.
I'm not expecting anyone to have an inlet manifold so after that anything is fair game.

I thought I would stay with a single throttle body as my engine is powerful enough for me as it is.
Do you have a part number for the Stealth as there are quite a number of different models most of which don't support my current 500hp.

Thanks
Steve

Oh yes,
Am building it at the moment (MS2) in amongst other distractions like having bought a lathe which is now half stripped for a clean-up and adjust. Then there's fitting two winches to the Dakar when it stops raining and I can work outside.

No problem with the job I jumped rather than pushed. Time was right and the package acceptable so I volunteered. Been there 33 years so time to do something else.

Do you have a make and model for the regulator and do you know what manifold the rails fit too?

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

sorry for the delay

the fuel rails are 12" long with -6 jic fittings at either end but they are known as blanks so you can machine the injector ports to suit the manifold you use. They were not a huge amount of money as they are blanks but perfect for someone with your engineering skills you can adapt them to the inlet mani. You would also need to drill the rails to hold them onto the inlet, which again you could do when you source the inlet.
The regulator again is only a budget item from Professional products but it worked fine (currently set at 45psi).
I dont want much for them and i wont be using them so if they will be any use you are welcome to them. They would definately get you started.

Cheers Kyle

Regulator and fittings sound good but I'm not sure about the rails yet until I know where I'm going with the inlet.
Any ideas what you want for your collection?

Simon
Keep looking. Have you tried under the sofa?

George
Many thanks I already have my Edis and Megasquirt bits sorted.

8 of each Stock LS1 and LS6 GM Injectors 26lb and 28lb @ 4 BAR from memory available. 28's did about 8k Miles and 26's about 50k Miles.
Also an LS1 intake manifold and fuel rails.

Should have an entire low mile (17k Miles) LS2 engine out of my 07 vxr8 available soon too. complete sump to intake/injectors + LS2 clutch & 1.8 ratio roller rockers.
It made way for a 440 cube LS7

Non efi related a 25% underdrive pulley suit a camaro/gto/monaro/vt-vz holden accessory system.

Add the engine to Mike's ECU and Harness and you have a 440bhp setup. I can supply mafless tune to suit, recently dyno'd 360rwhp on vixpy's dyno. 40rwhp more than stock maf tune. The 1.8 rockers helped.
