I have some cctv cameras with BNC connectors on. I am fearing they are becoming furred up and corroded. They are in an ip44 box, tucked up under the eves.
What would you do with them?
I had thought about packing in Vaseline?
As the cable from the camera is soo soo small, I don't want cut and join.

self amalgamting tape.

Wrap is round good and tight, will make it proper water proof.

Crimping a BNC is pretty straight forward. It might be worth fitting some new connectors then doing something to make sure they don't corrode? Might be worth putting a silicon sachet in the box if it's just condensation moisture.

Truly amazing stuff I use on all exposed electrical connections.
A million and one other uses too.
