Went to Tesco this morning - got given the 5p off fuel voucher. As I knew they didn't have a fuel station there I asked where the nearest place I could redeem said voucher...

... 120 mile round trip.

Tut.

I filled up with 60 litres so it got me £3 off. I suppose they are worth buying but it seems a bit daft paying someone 40p for a coupon and then 30p postage etc. Someone must be buying them I suppose. Maybe if I had a Big Merc with a thirsty appetite AND a feckin big tank in it.

Daily mirror today £2 off at shell when you buy 30 litres. Its not only tescos who give you money off. Just wondering how big the tank on the mini is.

Ha as if. Take that 4x vouchers, say it goes for £3 inc postage. Suppose if you were doing a big euro hoon (comming from the north of england) that is a tank to get to dover, a tank before you get on the ferry (plus jerry can or two) then use another just as you get back and one more when you get home that will save you a tenner minus that £3 so £7 better off. Yes its not worth the hassle hehe

Good way for people without cars who do lots of shopping to make a few pounds each week extra.

it'll probably cost you 2 quid hauling around a 50kg tank of fuel now!
