Anyone know why the front splitter on the cerb is reversed to the one on the chimaera??

my thoughts were to stop it ripping off but i thought it would create lift rather than pull the front down

Unlikely, it's just there to create an disturbance in the airflow I don't see how reversing it could create anything other than the same effect.

Any Aerodyamic effect is purely incidental!
The cars never had a sniff of a wind tunnell (or does anyone know diffent?).
I doubt if there is anything to be gained from doing much with it..whether you reverse it, remove it or whatever and depends what speeds your talking about too.
Now if you were on the racetrack, thats different and you could test the difference and see the results in handling and track times.

Most of the (handling) trouble seems to emanate from the other end. hehe

It has all been said in another thread but its there to push the airflow down and away from the engine bay and stop you bonnet being blown open and pins broken at high speeds, this is for the Cerb.

My Cerb must not of had one then as at VMAX the pins snapped at 160 and all I could see was the top of the engine! I was only on my second run frown
My Griff hasn't got one now either. I don't take it to VMAX though.

all the splitter on a cerbera does is to disturb air flow and allow hot air from the radiator from stalling in the engine compartment and thats it im afraid
