New location please, after Ettington cocked up my reservation last year.

I vote for somewhere I can camp next year. Any other campers out there?

I might be persuaded... Although I prefer the larger, brick built tents with BEER.

A venue with a camp site, or a venue with a camp site near by would give people more choice.

Please no camping, I only have to glance at my tent for a force 9 gale and horizontal rain to break out.

However how about this place for you happy campers: taltonlodge.co.uk 01789 459 244

Although they look a bit beardy and sandals, so might object to BBWF's turning up en masse.

That's the biggest set of wedges i've seen for a while !! but apart from that i was at ettington and had a great time, saying that we came about 320miles anything less would be a bonus [but not a problem] the wifes did enjoy the spa at the hotel while we talked cars, so as long as there's something for the wifes we will be going in 09. [Can't wait !!].

How long have you been able to 'hover'? Being able to levitate is quite a hard act to beat! bow

Big Bad Drag Fest.....hmmmm has quite a ring about it though.
And may be a worthwhile thing to try and organise sometime, three place's spring to mind, Santa Pod, York and Avon all have strips.

As a wise man once said 'when the flag drops, the bullst stops'

Don't want to rubbish a pottential meet at a drag strip but the Sunday after on of the wedge fest - we had a drag meet and whilst a few owners went - only 2 wedges ran their cars.

I remember it being bloody hot !

The top of my head is still red from the drive back...and that was 2006 !

I do confess to having a full set of camping gear, as yet unopened. redface

A few beers would make a night under canvas far more bearable I'm sure. drunk

Perhaps more people would have a go up the strip if it was used as the actual venue.

As an alternative, Cadwell Park is a very picturesque track, with fantastic (deserted) driving roads for miles around, and very camper-friendly. Even the possibilty of a TVR race meet with lots of racing Wedges smile
