RR Sport is FUN!
Discussion
I've been given insurance on my parent's RR Sport over the weekend, as I needed to make a trip to London to pick up some parts for my car.
I was amazed how comfortable and relaxing the car is to drive. Despite it's size (I'm used to a MUCH smaller Mercedes E-Class), you get to grips with it very quickly.
But I've taken down some excellent Norfolk country roads, and she sticks to the road very well, and the 6-speed auto 'box is brilliant, IMO. However, you certainly know it's a weighty car when you brake sharply!
And then there's the outright speed of the thing! It's the 4.2 S/C version, and it certainly surpises a few people.
This is the first time I've been allowed to drive the car since the parent's bought it over 18 months ago. I had a feeling it'd be enjoyable, but didn't realise it would be quite so much fun!
And over 420 miles, I averaged 12.5MPG!
