Does anybody know if this is possible, I need to replace the rear springs on my 330 saloon and wouldnt mind uprating all the suspension instead of just changing the standard springs.

Thanks

Even if it were possible it would be a terrifically bad idea. Hardened lowered suspension on the rear and softer higher standard on the front?

Invest in an aftermarket uprated kit specifically for your car

I would change the front and rear if i was swapping it for the M3 suspension.

I'd still stick with something that was designed for your specific car.

Why not sell the 330 and buy an M3? (especially given the prices they are now fetching). Seems like a total waste of money trying to get a 330 to be anything like an M3.

Try looking on eurocar parts

They carry Bilstein Suspension, and have the OEM spec shocks and springs up to a full coilover kit at £900 or so.

Depends on your budget.

Im not trying to make it like an M3, i need to change the rear springs anyway and know of used M3 struts and springs for under £200 so thought if they fit it would be good.

If the M3 suspension does not fit or is not a good idea i will just replace the springs for standard items.

IF it is the same as the E36, the front will actually raise up as the springs are designed for the heavier M engine - not a good thing.

I'd imagine the same applies here.

Have a look at Eibach springs, they're about £120 for all four (much cheaper than bmw) and actually make the ride better.

Yup, what he said ^^^. I've got them on, and they make the car sit nice and squat too.

Or you could get the "sport" springs??
