I've just bought a silver 1000 mile '08 Swift Sport which I'm due to get next week, any recommendations on light mods to improve performance? Also anyone had good or bad experiences with these cars?

I test drove one of these the other week. Seemed like an ace little car - only dissapointed slightely that the rorty engine note wasn't accompanied with a little bit more umph. Let us know how you get on with it

How much is a second hand engine from a JWRC car?

First week in and it's good news! Picked it up on 691 miles, now on 920. Needs to be revved to get the best out of it, feels like it's loosening up already so after another couple of thousand miles it should be spot on.
It's a bit hard on the suspension but the handling more than makes up for that, it's amazing through the bends. 5th is a bit short on the motorway but I prefer the twisties anyway!
