Thanks guys - just bought my first XKR

Yes, as you'll have seen if you've read my previous post I've done something crazy - bought an 8yr old XKR with 97k and not even set eyes on it. Good old Ebay
I did HPI it and also went for a 2000 model with steel liners. It is fully loaded, Satnav, Brembos, phone,Detroits, heated everything, Alpine, auto lights, wipers etc...
Thanks for all your advice. First time I see it will be next Sunday, when I also have to part with a chunk of cash! I've bought cars on Ebay unseen three times - two successes one major failure (although one of the successes was taken by the police for 3 months...) Lets hope fourth time lucky...

Congratulations - used my Sherlock Holmes gear to see which you've bought and tbh it looks a great buy.
I had a 1997 Xk8 for 4 years from 60k to 85k and the only problem I had was a flat battery.. oh and dont ever start it, move it 5 feet and switch off again as apparently they flood real easy... as I found out...
Now scouring PH and ebay for an 03 4.2 XKR... let us know how you get on with yours...
