I know this is probably the wrong place, but thought I would once more tap into the untold knowledge of the PH forum members.

I've had engineered wood floowing put down in my flat. The block of flats is purpose built so therefore has concrete floors.
On one edge of the living room I had a slighlty higher lip containing a pipe, running under the floor. Therefore I could not lay the wood over it. Compared to the wooden floor, it is probably 1.5cm deep by 10-15cm wide and 70-80 cm long.

Does anyone know of any filler I can use to atleast make the floor the same level??

So far I had found the following, but was unsure as to whether the area was too large...

Metolux Two Part Wood Filler
Liberon Two Part Wood Filler

Thanks guys

Step away from the filler and find a bit of wood that matches the floor and get it cut to size.

Agreed, filler is likely to crack due to thermal expansion / contraction, esp with a pipe underneath. Plus it will look carp. Either find a matching bit as said or "make a feature of it" by painting it or summink.

Get a plane and take some off the back of the flooring, so that it is level.

Correct, except it shouldn't be him doing this. If you paid someone to put down the flooring, which appears to be the case, then they haven't finished the job yet.

umm I had thought about that, but the area isnt flat at the moment so putting wood on it would be difficult.

I just wanted something which I could apply now to make it level with the rest of the floor....
Or to make it level, so at least I can plane the wood and put it down.

I also thought filler would crack, but it said the the 2 part stuff could replace whole planks, which is effectively what I want it to do..

Thanks guys
