Hi PHers,

Just went to turn on my lights, when I noticed that the row of switches and warning light cluster had come loose.

Does anybody know how the switchgear is attached to the back of the dashboard?

Can I get to the fixings without having to remove the fascia (through the radio slot, maybe)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Peege

There's some bolts glued to the back of the dash that it sits on...either the nut has come off or the Glue which the bolt is attached to the dash with has come unstuck.

use the search as there has been some threads recently on this and what glue to use.

Dash out job I am afraid. You will not be able to re glue the fixings through the radio slot. As BB has said quite a few threads on here explaining the procedure. Not my favorite job!

I don't think these are the same row of switches as you are talking about, but you get the idea about whats behind there from this

I managed to rebond the inboard end by removing the vent and trunking.
